Slim, modern and durable
The b-touch 2D reader has an ultra-compact design for easy carrying and handling in all environments. Dimensions: 141.9 x 64.4 x 17.8 mm.
The reader is made up of three predominant components. One being the device itself (iPod Touch 5, 6, iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6+, 6s). The second being the case which holds device and dock reader together. And the third component, the reader dock.
This unique design of-course gives you flexibility, for future hardware upgrades from Apple© as all you would have to do is upgrade the silicone case.
2D barcode reader b-touch has two buttons on each side to enable either left-handed or right-handed usage.
The three components that make up a Touch Reader
1) Boot
The case binds the dock and the iOS device together.
These cases are for the iPod® touch 5 & 6, iPhone® 6 and iPhone® 6 plus. In the future, as new models of the iPhone®* are released, the user simply change the case and can continue to use their existing dock. (*lightning port required.)
The three boots directly left are made for iPod touch, iPhone 6 and then furthest left, iPhone 6 Plus.

2) Dock
The dock is the engine part of each reader and choose 1D barcode scanner, 2D & 1D barcode scanner or RFID reader/writer.
2D barcode dock can read most of 1D and 2D barcodes, such as 1D (UPC/EAN, CODE39, CODE128, CODABAR and etc.) and 2D (QR code, PDF417, Datamatrix, Postal code and etc.)
RFID dock can read and write to the UHF IC tags, ISO18000-6 Type C/EPC Class1 Gen2.

3) Device
The third piece of the puzzle. The Device. The devices currently available to order with your Touch reader are a stunning line up of prestigious Apple mobile devices. Touch chooses Apple for premium build quality, the feature-rich software that iOS hosts and greatest breadth of applications available on a mobile device as well as user familiarity.
Touch believes in the technology Eco-system. Whether it is an iPad, iPod or iPhone you are using to collect and share data. You have a reliable product that will work simultaneously, clearly and easily with all your devices.
Security is another key factor for choosing Apple. With Touch-ID and Find My iPhone playing major roles.

Charging has never been so easy
Touch provides a selection of battery charger options for convenient battery charging
We have a selection of charging options available for all Touch readers.
The Multi-charger (picture 1), Stand-charger (picture 2) and the Mobile-charger (picture 3).
The four rings enable the charging process by connecting with a magnetic charger – the same effect as plugging in a cable, but much simpler & not fragile like a mini-USB connections.
A built-in wireless charging system with the same charging speed as a micro USB or Apple© Lightning Connector. Just place your b-touch reader on the charger for instant charging via the magnetic connector.

With many of the Touch project team being ex-retailers themselves, we know the in-store processes, implementation challenges, and the huge inventory management control that is needed. With Touch readers, Retail shop floor could not be a more perfect environment for the devices that are slim, stylish, compact and full of feature-rich customer service applications that is unrivalled in any other mobile readers when you put all these elements together.
Healthcare
One of the great things we are doing at Touch Technologies, is bringing the price of RFID readers closer than ever to the price of barcode readers. Giving the end-user the opportunity and freedom to explore both technologies. In health-care both RFID and Barcode reading can be used to great success tracking medical records, laboratory results, a supply to a particular patient and also identify the clinician who used it with the patient. Also organised inventory control within healthcare can be crucial, with Touch’s RFID and Barcode readers you can automatically reorder products when they reach a specific inventory level, or prevent surgical utensils from being left inside a patient. The last thing you want to do is create an inventory control nightmare in your healthcare facility.
